Read to Ride

All three elementary schools will be participating in the RIDE TO READ summer reading program. Please read and send home the information sheet, reading passport, and the K-2 or 3-5 book lists with your students. Great opportunity to promote reading, and possibly win a BIKE!!

Celebrate Screen-Free Week! May 1-7

Children, families—whole schools and communities—will rediscover the joys of life beyond the screen. Plan to unplug from digital entertainment and spend all that free time playing, daydreaming, creating, exploring and connecting with family and friends! One great way to unplug is reading books! Screen Free Week is also Children’s Book Week!

Children’s Book Week is May 1-7, 2017

Children’s Book Week is the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading.
Established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country.

Family Fun and Wellness Fair April 7th 5:30-7:00pm

Join the Great Falls staff and a variety of community vendors as we celebrate and promote family wellness! There will be lots of active activities for all including a bounce slide, obstacle course, yoga, a story walk and more! The cafeteria will be set up as a health and wellness expo with local businesses and experts ready to share their health and wellness knowledge! Hope to see you there!

March Is Women's History Month

Beginning as a small-town school event in California, Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society. The United States has observed it annually throughout the month of March since 1987.
